meeting: May 6th, 6PM Warren County Fairgrounds
We want to
send prayers and wishes to Nelda Lane on the loss of John. There is a fund at
Otterbein Lebanon United Methodist Church raising money for Wings of the
Morning Mission in Africa, John was very supportive of this cause, in lieu of flowers a donation there would be appreciated. I
also just found out that Howard Rush has passed away, both will be missed
OK, we have a
pulling correction. So grab your copy of the rules and move these tractors
around: The COCKSHUTT 20 goes to 1 Plow
New Light 3500lb, the FARMALL SUPER H is in 2 Plow New 6000, the COCKSHUTT 35
to 3 Plow New Light 6000lb, and the COCKSHUTT 50 to 4 Plow New 9000lb.
Don’t forget to upgrade your wheelie bars and hitches if needed, if you show up
to the fun pull you can have them inspected there
We are looking
over a list of possible changes for the show and things to get ready, these
include a dedicated people mover route/ rides around the lake, better handicap
parking, a tent and tables in the food alley for anyone to eat/rest at, and
better signage to show people around the grounds/where to park
It has been
quite a time delivering seed and getting fields ready here. To our members who
farm I wish you all a good spring and hopefully a good harvest. According to
the USDA we’re on track to have a 96 million acre corn crop, and
several planters are rolling now (a welcome change from last year!)
